01Policy Overview
This Refund Policy governs all services provided by Rule Worldwide Softech Pvt. Ltd. All our projects use milestone-based billing, which means payments are made only after specific deliverables are completed and approved — reducing the risk of disputes.
We want every client to be completely satisfied with our work. If you have concerns about a deliverable, please raise them during the review period before making payment for that milestone.
02Eligible Refund Scenarios
You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:
- Unstarted work: If we have collected an advance payment and have not yet commenced any work on your project, you are entitled to a full refund of the advance within 7 business days
- Incomplete milestones due to our fault: If we are unable to deliver an agreed milestone due to our own failure, and after reasonable time extensions still cannot deliver, you are entitled to a refund for that specific milestone
- Service cancellation by us: If Rule Worldwide Softech cancels your project without cause, all advance payments for uncompleted work will be refunded in full
- Major deviation from agreed scope: If delivered work significantly deviates from the documented and approved scope without your consent, and we are unable to rectify it within a reasonable timeframe
03Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- Work has been delivered, reviewed and approved by the client
- Payment has been made for a completed and accepted milestone
- Project delays caused by the client (late feedback, missing assets, scope changes)
- Change of mind after work has commenced
- Dissatisfaction with technology choices that were mutually agreed upon in the project scope
- Third-party service costs (domain registration, app store fees, API costs, etc.)
- Consultation fees for completed consultations
- Hosting, server or infrastructure costs already incurred
04Project Cancellation
If you wish to cancel a project in progress:
- All work completed and approved up to the cancellation date must be paid in full
- Work in progress at the time of cancellation will be billed on a pro-rata basis
- Any advance payments covering future, unstarted milestones will be refunded within 15 business days
- All deliverables for paid milestones will be handed over upon receipt of any outstanding balance
Cancellation must be submitted in writing via email to info@ruleworldwidesoftech.com with 30 days notice unless otherwise agreed.
05Refund Process & Timeline
To request a refund:
- Email us at info@ruleworldwidesoftech.com with subject: "Refund Request - [Your Project Name]"
- Include your project details, invoice number, and reason for the refund request
- Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
- We will review and respond with our decision within 7 business days
- Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days via the original payment method
Bank processing times: Once we initiate the refund, additional time may be required by your bank. NEFT/RTGS transfers typically take 1-3 business days.
06Dispute Resolution
We strongly prefer resolving any payment or refund disputes through direct communication. If you are unsatisfied with a refund decision:
- Request an escalation call with our management team
- We will make every reasonable effort to find a fair resolution
- If mutual resolution is not possible, disputes will be resolved as per Indian law and the jurisdiction of Chhattisgarh courts
